Integrity, Service, Excellence

What Motivates Me...

I’m running because I care deeply about our community and its future. As a veteran, I have served our country in different parts of the world and have seen the diversity and beauty of America.  I have always felt a special connection to the Pacific Northwest and Mason County, where I found a welcoming and supportive community with amazing people.

However, I also recognize that we face some serious challenges that require effective and responsible solutions. If elected Mason County Commissioner, District 1, I will work hard to address three key issues that affect our quality of life and well-being while maintaining fiscal responsibility.

1. Public Safety is a fundamental responsibility of local government and a basic right of the people. The citizens of Mason County deserve a safe and secure environment where they can live and raise their families without fear of crime or violence.

2. Homelessness, Addiction, and Mental Illness are not only human tragedies, but also social and economic problems that impact Mason County at multiple levels. These issues are complex and difficult. We need leadership that can bring together different stakeholders and partners to find and implement collaborative, compassionate, and effective solutions.

3. Economic Growth is essential for a prosperous and thriving community. The county needs a clear and shared vision for its future that aligns its efforts to attract new businesses, provide affordable housing, improve and expand the transportation network, and offer reliable and affordable utility services.
